  4. Queen street West - fashion, music, and art galleries
  5. The Beach – waterfront and parks

Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, University of Toronto

  1. CN Tower – great views and good food
  2. Hockey Hall of Fame – for all things hockey (of course, this is Canada’s game)
  3. Centre Island – great walking trails and bicycling, great views of the city skyline
  4. Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) – interesting exhibits of national and international collections
  5. Yorkville/Bloor Street -- high end shops and celebrity sight seeing

Blake Papsin, Co-Chair:

  1. Carousel in St. Lawrence market – best peameal bacon sandwich
  2. Art Gallery of Ontario – check out the 2nd floor collection of paintings by the Group of Seven
  3. Chinatown – best Dim Sum at Forestview Restaurant (about 200 yards west of the AGO on Dundas Street)
  4. McMichael Gallery in Kleinberg (north of Toronto) – biggest collection of Group of Seven painting in beautiful setting
  5. Greek Town on Danforth Avenue – restaurants galore

Nancy Bush, Event Planner:

  1. St. Lawrence Market – voted #5 (of 25) best food markets in the world by Food and Wine magazine
  2. Distillery District -- restaurants, theatre, shops, galleries (a must: Soma Chocolate)
  3. Elgin and Wintergarden Theatre -- a beautifully restored historic theatre. Take the tour!
  4. Neighbourhoods – each with its own character.
  5. Diversity – home to every cultural group in the world speaking more than 100 languages and dialects. All that great food too!!
